Stay warm and cosy this winter with our premium Alpaca Socks. Crafted from ultra-soft Peruvian "baby" alpaca yarn—sourced from the softest part of an adult alpaca's chest—these socks offer unparalleled comfort without the bulk. Perfect for everyday wear, they fit snugly and are ideal for those who often have cold feet.
The addition of nylon reinforcement ensures durability, making these socks a long-lasting staple in your winter wardrobe. Thanks to tiny air pockets within the fabric, your feet will stay toasty and comfortable all day long. Experience the perfect blend of warmth, softness, and durability with our alpaca socks.
The Health Sock® range ensures all-day comfort with a non-restrictive top that allows for healthy circulation. Made using top quality fine Australian Merino wool, ensuring superior comfort and durability. No itch guarantee. Perfect for individuals with diabetes or anyone seeking a comfortable fit for wider feet.
Please note that alpaca-blend socks are not recommended for work boots or high-friction activities like hiking. However, we wear them daily with our Blundstone boots and they work great.

Micron + Weight
Micron + Weight

Micron
The micron (µm) is the measurement of the diameter of a wool fibre. The lower the micron the higher the quality and the softer the wool is next to skin.
We source Australian Merino wool directly from local farmers. While China buys and processes around 82–86% of all Australia’s wool, it often blends Merino with lower-quality fibres to bulk, and therefore reduces softness. The Bluey range is 100% sourced in Australia—ensuring unmatched softness without the itch.
|
Broad (22.6–24.5) Definitely itchy |
|
Medium (20.6–22.5) Slightly itchy |
|
Fine (18.6–20.5) Soft |
|
Superfine (16.6–18.5) Extremely soft |
| Ultrafine (14.6–16.5) Insanely soft |
Weight
The weight number used for each garment represents the fabric's weight in grams per meter square. The higher the number the warmer and heavier the garment.
|
Heavyweight (230–340+) Extreme conditions |
|
Mid-weight (190–220) Cold conditions |
|
Ultralight (140–180) Everyday wear, year-round layering |
|
Feather-weight (75–120) So light you can barely feel it on your skin |
Easy Care Guide
Easy Care Guide

- Machine wash 30°gentle/wool cycle
- Wash with similar colour wool garments
- Protect your garment by using a laundry bag
- Use wool or gentle detergent
- Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, enzymes or softeners (weakens yarn)
- Lightly reshape and lay flat to dry
- Use iron on wool/delicate setting (if at all)
- We recommend hanging your garments to air between wears. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant, it doesn't require washing after each wear.
