Changes to Import Duties and Tariffs Effective August 29, 2025, the United States Government has suspended the de minimis exemption, which previously allowed goods valued at US$800 or less to enter the US without import duties and taxes. As a result, all commercial shipments entering the United States are now subject to full customs clearance, duties, taxes, and processing fees, regardless of value.

What This Means for Your Order:
  • Potential Additional Costs: Your total purchase price on our website does not include potential US import duties, taxes, or customs brokerage fees. The final cost of your order may be higher than the price paid at checkout.
  • Payment Responsibility: These additional charges are determined and collected by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and your local postal or courier service upon entry into the US. You, the customer (importer of record), are responsible for paying these fees to receive your shipment. We are not liable for any such additional costs.
  • Shipping Delays: All shipments will now undergo a full customs clearance process, which may lead to extended processing and delivery times at the border.
  • Risk of Return: If the applicable duties and taxes are not paid upon arrival, your shipment may be delayed, abandoned, or returned to the sender, in which case you will be responsible for any associated return shipping fees and will not be eligible for a refund of the original shipping costs.

We are legally obligated to declare the full value of your package. Once items have shipped, they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser. 

If a parcel is returned due to refusal to pay duties and taxes, a refund will be issued, excluding shipping fees.
