We made these crew socks to handle Tasmania’s wild weather


These heavy-knit crew socks are knitted right here in Tasmania using a traditional blend of 80% fine Australian Merino wool and 20% nylon. The wool keeps them incredibly soft, breathable, and completely itch-free, while the nylon adds extra strength and stretch.

They come in a few great textured marle colours. Because they are authentically made on local vintage machines, you might notice slight variations in size or tension between the colours—it’s just a natural part of the traditional process. 

Ideal for pairing with ankle boots, these socks ensure a comfortable fit with no itch or irritation.

Machine wash on a 30° gentle or wool cycle.

Easy Care Guide

  • Machine wash 30° gentle/wool cycle
  • Wash with similar colour wool garments
  • Protect your garment by using a laundry bag
  • Use wool or gentle detergent
  • Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, enzymes or softeners (weakens yarn)
  • Lightly reshape and lay flat to dry
  • Use iron on wool/delicate setting (if at all)
  • We recommend hanging your garments to air between wears. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant, it doesn’t require washing after each wear.
