Ditch the boring and inject serious joy into your wardrobe

These highly popular, vibrant socks let you show off your colourful side. Knitted from a premium Merino-alpaca blend for itch-free warmth, they feature a non-restrictive Health Sock® top. Soft, durable, and full of personality, they will quickly become your favourite pair.

Specifications

  • 47% Fine Merino Wool, 28% Baby Alpaca*, 22% Nylon, 2.5% Elastane, 0.5% Polyester
  • Health Sock® Elastic-free top that stays put without digging in—perfect for circulation and sensitive ankles.
  • Made in Melbourne by Humphrey Law
  • Not recommended for high-abrasion work/ankle boots.

*The term "Baby Alpaca" refers to the fineness of the fibre, not the age of the animal. It comes from the softest part of an adult Alpaca, usually the chest.

Care Instructions

  • Machine wash on a 30° gentle or wool cycle.
  • Wash with similar colour wool garments.
  • Lightly reshape while damp and lay flat to dry.
  • Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, bio-enzymes, or fabric softeners.

Easy Care Guide

  • Machine wash 30° gentle/wool cycle
  • Wash with similar colour wool garments
  • Protect your garment by using a laundry bag
  • Use wool or gentle detergent
  • Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, enzymes or softeners (weakens yarn)
  • Lightly reshape and lay flat to dry
  • Use iron on wool/delicate setting (if at all)
  • We recommend hanging your garments to air between wears. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant, it doesn’t require washing after each wear.

Micron + Weight

Micron

Ever wondered why some Merino wool feels like a warm hug while others feel like a prickly cactus by lunchtime? It all comes down to the micron — the measurement of a wool fibre’s diameter. The smaller the number, the finer the fibre, and the softer it feels against your skin.

Not sure where to start? Use this guide to find the perfect softness, feel, and warmth that’s just right for you.

Micron Category Diameter (Microns) Primary Market Use
Ultrafine Merino 14.6µm – 16.5µm High-end luxury apparel and knitwear
Superfine Merino 15.1µm – 18.5µm Suiting, premium base layers, and fine yarn
Fine Merino 18.6µm – 20.5µm General apparel, sportswear, and weaving
Medium Merino 20.6µm – 24.5µm Heavy knitwear, blankets, and carding wool
Strong Merino 24.6µm+ Furnishings and heavy-duty textiles

Weight

The weight number used for each garment represents the fabric’s weight in grams per square metre. The higher the number, the warmer and heavier the garment.
