GARMENT CARE

Follow these simple steps to ensure that your new garment will be with you for many years to come.

  • Machine wash 30°gentle/wool cycle
  • Wash with similar colour wool garments
  • Use wool or gentle detergent
  • Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, enzymes or softeners (weakens yarn and leads to holes)
  • Use iron on wool/delicate setting (if at all)
  • Lightly reshape and lay flat to dry
  • We recommend hanging your garments to air between wears. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant, it doesn't require washing after each wear.

MICRON + WEIGHT

What Does a Micron in Wool Mean ?

The micron (µm) is the measurement of the diameter of a wool fibre. The lower the micron the higher the quality and the softer the wool is next to skin.

  • Broard Merino wool ranges between (22.6–24.5µm)
  • Medium Merino wool (20.6–22.5µm)
  • Fine Merino wool (18.6–20.5µm)
  • Superfine Merino wool (16.6 – 18.5µm
  • Ultrafine Merino wool (14.6 to 16.5µm)

Bluey's collection is made with Superfine and Ultrafine Merino wool from Australia.

Weight System

Bluey's Fabric Weight System allows you to select the exact feel and warmth you desire. The number used for each garment represents the fabric's weight in grams per meter square.

The higher the number the warmer the garment.

Important Notice to Our Valued US Customers: Changes to Import Duties and Tariffs Effective August 29, 2025, the United States Government has suspended the de minimis exemption, which previously allowed goods valued at US$800 or less to enter the US without import duties and taxes. As a result, all commercial shipments entering the United States are now subject to full customs clearance, duties, taxes, and processing fees, regardless of value.

What This Means for Your Order:

  • Potential Additional Costs: Your total purchase price on our website does not include potential US import duties, taxes, or customs brokerage fees. The final cost of your order may be higher than the price paid at checkout.
  • Payment Responsibility: These additional charges are determined and collected by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and your local postal or courier service upon entry into the US. You, the customer (importer of record), are responsible for paying these fees to receive your shipment. We are not liable for any such additional costs.
  • Shipping Delays: All shipments will now undergo a full customs clearance process, which may lead to extended processing and delivery times at the border.
  • Risk of Return: If the applicable duties and taxes are not paid upon arrival, your shipment may be delayed, abandoned, or returned to the sender, in which case you will be responsible for any associated return shipping fees and will not be eligible for a refund of the original shipping costs.

Our Recommendation:We recommend that you familiarise yourself with your country's customs regulations and potential import costs before placing an order. You can find basic information on importing goods from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website. We are committed to providing you with the best possible service and appreciate your understanding as we navigate these changes.
